CommCan Mansfield Dispensary

Coming in 2024

Our stores in Millis and Rehoboth are open for Medical and Recreational Sales. In 2024, we cannot wait to announce the opening of our brand-new dispensary in Mansfield, which will also offer both Medical and Recreational Sales.

We do not allow infants, children or any individuals into the dispensary who are under the age of 21 (unless they are a medical patient).

CommCan accepts cash and debit cards. Debit cards are processed as an ATM withdrawal and a $3.50 ATM Fee is charged along with any bank out-of-network ATM fees. We do not accept credit cards or Apple Pay. We do not accept Cannapay or Dutchie Pay.

Identification

You need a government-issued ID for age validation.

Acceptable forms of ID to purchase recreational marijuana include:

  • Driver’s license
  • Passport
  • State ID card
  • Military ID

Please note that we cannot accept expired forms of identification for legal marijuana sales.

You must be 21+ years of age to purchase recreational marijuana.

We do not accept Massachusetts Temporary Paper IDs.

You do NOT need a medical marijuana card at our Millis or Rehoboth dispensaries to purchase marijuana for recreational use. You will only need a valid license that verifies that you are 21+ years of age. However, if you would like to become a MA medical marijuana patient, you can learn more about doing so here.

Products & Purchasing

Yes, you can purchase adult use marijuana at our dispensary in Millis and Rehoboth with a government-issued ID that verifies you are 21 or older. Valid forms of identification include driver’s licenses, passports, or military IDs. Please remember that all products purchased in Massachusetts are only legal in Massachusetts.

You can buy up to 1 ounce of marijuana flower or 5 grams of marijuana concentrate each day. For marijuana edibles, you can buy up to 500mg. Please be aware that there might be extra limits if there’s a lot of people buying at once.

Recreational cannabis products range in strengths and dosages. Everyone responds differently to cannabis as there is no consistent measurement of effects. We encourage all new guests to start low and go slow to learn how it affects them and to become familiar with their consumption limits. Don’t be shy asking for help at the dispensary.

Consistent with alcohol, MA will not allow any discounts on our adult use cannabis products. However, on the medical side, we will continue to provide discounts and promotions to our medical cannabis patients.

No, we also take debit cards for payment. But we don’t accept credit cards, Apple Pay, Cannapay, or Dutchie Pay. Debit card charges are made in $10 increments, and any change is given back to the guest, along with a $3.50 fee and any charges that your bank may have for using an out-of-network ATM.

Consumption

Consumption of adult use cannabis may only occur in privately designated areas where smoking and/or vaping is allowed. If you’d like to visit a consumption lounge, there is currently one in operation called The Summit Lounge which is located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Membership is required to enter The Summit Lounge, to learn more information visit here.

Transportation

Transporting adult use cannabis is similar to transporting alcohol wherein you cannot have an open container of recreational cannabis or cannabis products in the passenger area. An “open container” is defined as having a package with a broken seal or a package from which contents have been partially removed. While traveling with cannabis, keep your cannabis products unopened and stowed in your glove compartment or trunk.

Cannabis is still federally illegal in the United States. State borders fall under federal jurisdiction so crossing state lines with your purchase is a federal offense. While traveling in Massachusetts, keep your medicated products unopened and stowed in your glove compartment or trunk.

Becoming a Medical Marijuana Patient

Great question! We have put together some easy step-by-step instructions which should help guide you through the steps of becoming a medical marijuana patient here in Massachusetts.

LEARN HOW TO BECOME A PATIENT

Here, you will find a list of medical marijuana specialists, working in Massachusetts. We would be happy to provide educational information on the use of medical marijuana to your physician as well.

A medical marijuana license lets you buy medical marijuana with higher doses to help with different medical problems. If you have this license, you won’t have to pay the extra 20 percent tax on medical marijuana. You’ll also get special discounts and deals that people buying recreational marijuana won’t get. Plus, at stores that sell both types, you’ll get to go in first. If you want to get a medical marijuana license, you can find out more here.

Discounts

Yes, all first time patients receive a “one-time” 25% off of their first medicated purchase at CommCan. This First Time Patient discount is combinable and stackable with weekly deals.

  • First-time patients get 25% off their entire purchase.
  • If you’ve just renewed your medical card, you also get 25% off.
  • People with financial hardship (like those with MassHealth, SSI, or SNAP/EBT) can get 10% off. You need to show proof.

  • 100% Disabled Veterans get 40% off with proof.
  • Pediatric patients get 15% off all marijuana products.

In order to be compliant with the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, CommCan requires verification, including one of the following documents, in order to obtain a hardship discount:
