Our own genetics, grown seed-to-sale at our Medway facility — including CommCan Flower, HelloHii, and Blue River’s exclusive rosin strains. Trimmed and cured to perfection, packaged in airtight glass containers that preserve freshness.
🍪 Manufacturing
Edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls, and infused beverages — all formulated and produced in-house by our own manufacturing team, never outsourced.
🏷️ Branding
Bite, SIP, Strollerz, and HelloHii are all CommCan-owned brands, built and packaged internally from concept to shelf.
🏪 Retail
Our products go straight from our facility to our own dispensaries in Millis, Mansfield, and Rehoboth — no middleman, no markup from third-party retailers.

The CommCan Timeline
From two seedlings in Medway to three Massachusetts dispensaries — here’s how we got here.
CommCan Is Founded
CommCan is founded by Ellen, Marc, and Jon Rosenfeld. The entrepreneurial team of siblings, with a lifetime of experience in real estate and development, decided to put down new roots in the Millis and Medway area — entering the legal cannabis market.
First Seeds Planted
The first seeds were planted at our Medway cultivation facility, marking the beginning of CommCan’s seed-to-sale growing operation.
First Dispensary Opens
CommCan opens its first medical dispensary in Southborough on July 24, 2018. The opening confirmed CommCan as the first woman-owned, LGBTQ+ owned dispensary in Massachusetts.
Adult Use Launches in Millis
CommCan opens its first adult-use dispensary to the public in Millis. Just thirteen days later, the CCC granted CommCan its second medical license, making Millis the company’s first co-located adult-use and medical store.
SIP Beverages Launch
CommCan launches SIP Lemon Soda, the first cannabis-infused beverage available for recreational customers on the East Coast. SIP quickly becomes the #1 infused soda in Massachusetts.
Cookies Partnership
Cookies partners with CommCan to grow Cookies genetics on the East Coast — bringing one of cannabis’ most recognized brands to Massachusetts.
Cookies Flower Launches
Cookies flower officially launches at CommCan on Cinco de Mayo, 2021 — marking the official release of Cookies genetics on the East Coast.
Rehoboth Opens
CommCan opens its second co-located recreational and medical dispensary to the public in Rehoboth, MA.

CommCan now operates three Massachusetts dispensaries — Millis, Mansfield, and Rehoboth — alongside our Medway cultivation and manufacturing facility, where we grow our own flower and produce in-house brands like SIP, Bite, Strollerz, and HelloHii from start to finish.
