SIP was the first recreationally-available cannabis-infused soda ever sold in Massachusetts — handcrafted from day one by CommCan in Medway, MA.
We made SIP because cannabis shouldn’t have to come with smoke, a vape, or a gummy. A can of SIP is the same kind of thing as a cocktail or a craft beer — something you crack open after work, take to a friend’s place, or enjoy at the end of a long week.

What is SIP?
SIP is a line of cannabis-infused beverages — sodas, seltzers, and drink syrups — handcrafted in Massachusetts by CommCan. It was the first recreationally-available cannabis-infused soda ever sold in the state.
Think of SIP as a replacement for your favorite cocktail, beer, or after-work drink: something you crack open socially, with friends, or on your own when you want to unwind without smoking.
How long does it take SIP to kick in?
Most people feel the effects of SIP within 15 to 30 minutes — significantly faster than traditional edibles, which can take up to two hours.
That’s because SIP uses nanoencapsulation: the THC is wrapped in a microscopic water-compatible coating that lets your body absorb it much more efficiently. Individual tolerance varies, so start with one can and wait at least 30 minutes before deciding to have another.
How much THC is in a SIP?
Most SIP sodas and seltzers contain 5mg of THC per can — a comfortable starter dose for new or occasional cannabis users. Recreational customers in Massachusetts have access to this 5mg version.
Massachusetts medical patients have access to higher-dose SIP options, including 25mg and 100mg versions for patients with higher tolerances or specific therapeutic needs.

Are SIP beverages legal in Massachusetts?
Yes. SIP is produced and sold under the regulations of the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission. All sales happen through licensed dispensaries — in our case, the three CommCan locations in Millis, Mansfield, and Rehoboth, as well as wholesale partners across the state. You must be 21+ for recreational sales or a registered medical patient.

Yes — SIP is completely smokeless. There’s no smell, no smoke, no flame, no vapor. It looks and tastes like a regular soda, seltzer, or drink. This makes it a great choice for social settings, indoor spaces, or anyone who wants to enjoy cannabis without combustion.
What flavors does SIP come in?
Our current lineup includes sodas like Lemon, Lemon Lime, Root Beer, Orange Energy, Half & Half, Terp Tonic, CouchLock Grape, Boston THC Party, Revive Pink Potion, and our PRIDE Rainbow Sherbet. Seltzers include Orange Pineapple and Watermelon Lemonade. Drink syrups include Lemon, Couchlock Grape, and Green Apple.

What’s a SIP drink syrup, and how do I use it?
SIP drink syrups are concentrated, precisely-dosed cannabis tinctures in soda-flavored bases. Mix a serving into a glass of soda water for a homemade SIP, stir it into iced tea or lemonade, or use it in cocktail mixers and mocktails.
